What is your idea of happiness?
That magical moment when the people you love most all are happy.

Not preparing my children to be happy, self-sufficient adults.

What is your most prized possession?
My Aunt Sis' ring – she was my mom's aunt who I was very close to. I received it a few days before she passed away when I was 14. When I look at it, I see her hands and feel very connected to her.

Which talent would you most like to have?
 I wish I'd learned to dance like my mom.

What is your favorite quality in a woman?
A good sense of humor.

 I was on the rowing team in college.

What was the worst day of your life?
7/15/07 – the day my dad died.

What was the happiest day of your life?
 11/19/92 – the first time Brad, my husband, called me. We talked for at least 4 hours. Not a day has gone by since then that I haven't thought about him.

What do you hate the most?
Feeling like I don't have enough time to finish something.

How would you like to die?
 In my sleep at a very old age (but not too old).

Besides the Pine Belt, where is your favorite place to be?
Almost anywhere with a nice breeze and interesting topography.

If you could have dinner with anyone – dead or alive – who would it be?
 My dad – I miss him very much.

What would you eat for your last meal?
Popeyes Fried Chicken!

What is your greatest regret? 
I don't really believe in regret. I believe we make choices that can be categorized as right or wrong, but ultimately, they're necessary in moving forward and preparing for the next stage in life. I believe learning can't happen without making some mistakes.
